Terms and Conditions

The SEAHIS Registration includes the following:
– Access to all the conference sessions (except for any closed private session where media are not invited and where SEAHIS may exclude any delegate it reasonably believes may record the session)
– Inclusion in the list of delegates (as long as registration is received by 8th June 2024)

All out-of-pocket costs of the delegate, including inter alia, (i) travel to and from the Summit or otherwise in connection with the Summit, (ii) hotel or other lodging costs, and (iii) any refreshments not included in the list are the sole responsibility of the delegate and these are not included in the registration fee. If the Summit is cancelled or postponed for any reason, you accept that SEAHIS and HOFTEL Asia Limited (“HOFTEL”) are not liable for any out-of-pocket costs incurred by the delegate. HOFTEL recommends that it may be a good idea for all attendees to secure travel insurance to cover any prepaid, or non-refundable travel costs.
SEAHIS intends to hold the Summit on the dates indicated herein. However, in registering you recognise and accept that SEAHIS may re-locate the Summit or alter its dates and that some or all of the content may be delivered online.

You may cancel your participation in SEAHIS at any time by writing to sophia@hoftel.com. For paying delegates (as opposed to speakers or sponsor delegates) if you cancel prior to 10th May 2024, your subscription will be refunded less a US$ 295 cancellation fee; if you cancel between 10th May and 4th June 2024, your subscription will be refunded less a US$ 695 cancellation fee. If you cancel thereafter, apologies but the delegate registration payment is non-refundable in all circumstances. In the event that you do not pay and SEAHIS /HOFTEL incurs costs in reclaiming any such unpaid amount, then you agree to pay or repay to SEAHIS /HOFTEL such costs or expenses.

SEAHIS reserves the right to prohibit anyone from attending, or may allow anyone to attend, the Summit at its final discretion and without providing an explanation.

Your registration is personal to you and does not allow friends, colleagues, partners, guests or anyone else to accompany you to the Summit or any networking events related thereto. All attendees will be issued with a name badge and should wear this throughout the Summit and at networking events related thereto. SEAHIS reserves the right to cross-check the name badge with photo identification of the attendee and to refuse admission at its absolute discretion if this is not provided or differs from the name on the badge.

Tickets are non-transferable. You may elect a colleague to take your place, up to and including 28th May 2024, upon payment to SEAHIS of a change fee of US$ 95. From 29th May 2024, any changes to delegates require the prior written approval of SEAHIS which may be withheld at its absolute discretion in which case your registration fee will be retained by SEAHIS; if the change is accepted, the change fee will be US$ 350. SEAHIS does not sell one-day tickets and a colleague may not replace you for part of the time; a change is for the entire conference.

Your contact information, as provided in your registration will be shared with the Summit sponsors. It will also be shared with other delegates on the Summit networking system and in the delegate list unless you have ticked the one or both boxes that say you do not wish this to be shared, or that you accept that it is shared but wish to withhold your mobile number.
You agree that SEAHIS and any related parties, other delegates, sponsors and media participants may photograph, and record via video or audio methods your participation in the Summit and waive any and all claims against SEAHIS or HOFTEL as a result of this. You further agree that SEAHIS may use any presentation you make or any recordings or photographs it takes (i) on its website, (ii) to share with delegates and sponsors (iii) or for future marketing purposes. You agree that you will observe local and regional customs and refrain from any behaviour which is libellous, slanderous or otherwise defamatory.
You understand and accept that the Summit’s agenda, speakers and all networking events are subject to alteration at any time before or during the Summit, at the discretion of SEAHIS or possibly due to matters outside its control.

You attend the Summit at your own risk and hereby agree without limitation that in attending the Summit you may be subject to the risk of exposure to communicable diseases including any and all variants of Covid 19 and may as a result suffer from serious illness if such disease is contracted; and that you may also risk passing on such illness to anyone with whom you come into contact. Therefore you further agree (and agree on behalf of your heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin) that SEAHIS and/or HOFTEL and their officers, agents and employees are in no way liable, directly or indirectly should you contract or transmit Covid-19 or any other communicable disease at the Summit, even if this arises from the negligence of SEAHIS, HOFTEL or the Summit venue. You hold harmless SEAHIS, HOFTEL and the Summit venue, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, subcontractors and any volunteers, other delegates, sponsors and advertisers at, or involved with, the Summit with respect to any and all injury, illness, disability, death or loss or damage to person or property associated with your presence at, or participation in the Summit or any related events, or any transportation arranged by the Summit thereto, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree that you will not attend the Summit if you are exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 or any other serious infectious disease; or if you are required to be in quarantine or self-isolation. If you show signs of any such disease or cannot produce a negative test or proof of vaccination (or both if required by the authorities), HOFTEL and/or SEAHIS reserve the right to refuse admission; and if HOFTEL or the host hotels or conference centre insist upon testing for Covid-19 or any other communicable disease, you will submit yourself to such test and respect the result thereof (which may mean that you cannot attend the Summit).
