Brad has spent his career mentoring, coaching and leading teams & individuals to help them realise their aspirations and dreams. He has worked in 16 countries in his operational, regional and development roles with Hyatt, Intercontinental Hotels and HHL. He currently oversees operations for the groups 15 hotels.
Most recently he was a key member of the team that launched HHL’s first hotel brand, The Hari London. Current hotel project in the works is The Hari Hong Kong due to open September 2020. Previously HHL always hired International brands to manager their portfolio of hotels.
During his time as Regional GM with Intercontinental Hotels, his region grew from 4 hotels to 15 and along with contributing almost 25% of Management fees for Greater China, launched the Holiday Inn Express brand into Asia and the Indigo brand into Hong Kong.
A graduate of BCIT’s Tourism & Hospitality School, class of 1978. He was honored and awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2017 by the school. Brad previously held the roles of Chairman of the Hotel Association and the Chairman of the School Board in Bali.
A couple of his personal achievements were: cycling over 25,000 kms in slightly less than a year in Great Britain, Europe, the Middle East and Africa on his mountain bike and lowering his handicap to single digit.
