Head of Research Asia Pacific
Frank is Head of Research Asia Pacific for JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group, based in Singapore. With over 16 years of property research analysis, consulting and corporate real estate advisory experience, Frank has a vast knowledge of property across most sectors. His current responsibilities include authoring leading edge hotel industry research such as “Hotel Investment Outlook”, “Hotel Investment Highlights”, “Hotel Investor Sentiment Survey” and regular country-focused “Hotel Destinations” updates, as well as thought-provoking blogs, white papers and tailored consultancy market and feasibility studies. Geographical specialisation across the region is wide but with a particular focus on Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia. Frank regularly provides market updates at JLL sponsored client events and seminars.
After commencing with Jones Lang Wootton in Perth in 1999 as a graduate, Frank relocated to Melbourne after three years where he spent 11 years working within property research, consulting, finance, advisory, and corporate real estate roles for organisations including CBRE and ANZ Banking Corporation, before re-joining JLL’s Singapore office in early 2013. Frank holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University in Perth, Australia. There he majored in Property and Finance achieving honours.
