Lanson Place Hospitality Management
Mr. Marc Hediger is the Chief Executive Officer of Lanson Place Hospitality Management Limited (Lanson Place). Lanson Place is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wing Tai Properties Limited, a publicly listed company in Hong Kong (HKEx stock code: 369). Wing Tai currently manages eleven properties under the Lanson Place brand, comprising serviced apartments and hotels from South East Asia to China and Hong Kong, of which 2 properties are members of Small Luxury Hotels of the World™.
Mr. Hediger brings to Lanson Place over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, responsible for overall operations of the company and spearheading the expansion of Lanson Place from South East Asia to China, Japan and Australia.
Mr. Hediger began his career in hospitality management with Hyatt International in 1981. During his 16-year tenure with Hyatt, he was involved in executive assignments on several continents.
In 1997, Mr. Hediger joined HPL Holdings in Singapore as Senior Vice President and successfully set up Hard Rock Hotels & Resorts International. He also worked for Mövenpick Hotels as Corporate Director of Food & Beverage thereafter.
Between 2001 and 2009, Mr. Hediger was Senior Vice President of Development with Shangri-La Hotels Worldwide, where he played a key role in expanding Shangri-La’s global presence out of China / Asia.
Prior to joining Lanson Place in 2011, Mr. Hediger was Senior Vice President of Product and Development at New World Rosewood Hospitality.
Mr Hediger is a Swiss National and Alumni of EHL in his native country.
