Mike is responsible for driving Airbnb’s strategy and long-term growth in some of Airbnb’s fast growing markets. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as the Director of Public Policy for Asia Pacific at Airbnb, where he led a team of policy professionals across the region and engaged various government and community leaders.
Before that, Mike led Google’s public policy efforts for emerging markets in Asia. He was previously at the US-ASEAN Business Council in Washington D.C, and he represented leading US investors in Southeast Asia on complex trade and investment issues across a variety of industries. Mike grew up in Kuala Lumpur and is a graduate of Stanford University.
