Sapna Jhangiani QC is recognised as a leading lawyer in Asia by numerous directories including Best Lawyers 2021, the A List (Asia’s Top Lawyers) of the Asia Business Law Journal, and Who’s Who Legal. In March 2020, she was conferred the honour of Queen’s Counsel by her Majesty the Queen, which is awarded for excellence in the conduct of advocacy. She has specialised in representing both owners and operators on contentious issues for the last 15 years, and the majority of her work is in the hospitality industry. In 2015, she spent six months on secondment to Hilton’s Singapore office as its acting counsel for India (with a portfolio of both transactional and operational matters). She specialises in commercial, practical advice and in assisting parties to resolve their disputes to receive the most favourable outcome, whether through amicable discussions, or more formal modes such as mediation and arbitration.

Sapna has advised parties on issues relating to hotels in Thailand, Mainland China, India, Korea, Dubai, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Mauritius, Indonesia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the UK, amongst others. She works with local counsel where required, providing seamless and strategic advice to hospitality clients wherever needed.
