For more than a decade, Tim Alpe has proactively set out to disrupt the traditional hospitality model, both in Hong Kong and abroad. As a true global citizen, his professional experience spans New Zealand, Mainland China, the United Kingdom, Macau and Hong Kong including several pre-opening assignments, rebranding’s and conceptualisations for such brands including the InterContinental Hotels Group Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Express and Rhombus International Hotels Group prior to joining the Ovolo Group.
Tim has a detailed understanding of all facets of hospitality from the ground up with vast experience at both property and regional level roles, covering food and beverage, sales and revenue, general management and corporate office leadership.
As progressive as he is personable, Tim’s passion is evident in all his interactions whether they be with his multiple teams, hotel guests or the many partners he procures to deliver his desired results. He thrives on challenging the status quo in some of the world’s more challenging and often more traditional hotel markets.
Holding an Applied Hospitality & Tourism degree from the Pacific International Hotel Management School, Tim is the Chief Operating Officer of Ovolo Group Hong Kong, charged with leading the continued growth of the much-loved Ovolo portfolio of properties, while also building upon the Group’s new ground-breaking co-living and co-working concept, Mojo Nomad.
